Rieley Nixon

Rieley has always called Utah home. She has a zest for life and how music can make the best things in life brighter. She has a wonderful husband, Josh, 2 amazing sons, Eli and Wyatt, and a golden doodle named Brody. From a young age she has always had an affinity for music. 

She started taking piano lesson herself at the age of 7 and has never stopped! She participated in many challenging and rewarding piano festivals over her early lesson experience scoring top mark in each of them. She has been an avid pianist and vocalist through her lifetime. She fell in love with singing as a young girl and started taking voice lessons at the age of 14. She has participated in many vocal groups from middle school and high school, and collegiate choirs to  Madrigals, musicals, and much more! 

She studied Vocal Performance at Brigham Young University - Idaho. Her favorite part of her musical collegiate experience was delving into music theory. She loves the way you can really understand the reasons why music sounds like it does through it and makes it a focus of her teaching. She has been teaching full time since 2020. Helping her students grow and develop their talents is her passion.
